Pastor Philip Cheng

Pastor Phil grew up in a Christian family and received his calling from God at the age of 18.  Under the guidance of spiritual leaders in his home church, he entered university and completed a degree in commerce.  Phil worked for 10 years in the workplace, where he engaged in strategic development for corporations, producing marketing materials for industry conferences and leadership teams.  Phil’s desire to serve Jesus grew stronger through time.  In 2013, he enrolled in the Master of Divinity program at Ambrose Theological Seminary.  Phil first came to South Gate Alliance as a student intern in 2017, ordained in 2022, and currently is a full-time assistant pastor in the Cantonese congregation.
