Camp Harmattan - Google Maps from SGA (1.5 hour by car)
Theme - "Rooted in Christ" and we'll have various people speaking about what that means and looks like. This is based on John 15:5 where Jesus says, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
- The cost will be $150 for early bird, or $175 after May 3rd. Registration ends after Friday, May 8th.

- Please also fill out the permission waiver and get it to us.
Who should come? Anyone who is Grades 6-12!
HOWEVER, Pastor Matt will talk with the parents of every youth who is grade 6 who are interested. We have expectations for behavior, maturity and taking care of yourselves. If you are considering coming out, please contact me asap and we can talk about it.
Transportation Notes for Friday, May 15th:
1. We will be meeting at church and taking a chartered school bus together.
2. Be at the church by 3:30 pm. If you are running late, call Pastor Matt (403 606 8832)!
3. Please have dinner before you arrive (or bring something on the bus). We arrive in the late evening at camp and will have no meal. There will be a later night snack at the camp, but not a full meal.
4. Sunday pickup - Parents, please pick up your kids up at the church at 3:00pm on Sunday. By 2:00pm, we will be on the bus and hope to have your teen contact you that we are 1 hour away.
Things to brings:
Sleeping equipment
· Sleeping bag/blankets and pillow
· Bedsheets if so desired. We will all be on mattresses in indoor heated dorm rooms.
Toiletries
· Toothbrush and toothpaste
· Shampoos and soaps
· Towels
· Medicines and allergy drugs
Study Materials
· Bible
· Notebook and pen for writing notes
· There will be NO wifi access if you're the sort who uses devices for bible or note taking.
Clothes
· Clothing to last 3 days and sports
· Pajamas
· Appropriate footwear
· Clothing that you won't mind getting dirty or messy or sweaty
· Slippers/ indoor shoes
Extras
· Snackies (nut free please)
· Water bottle
· Bug repellant
· Flashlight
· Board games (no gaming devices)
· Please do not bring ipads, tablets, or handheld gaming devices. During camp, put away electronic devices that will distract you from the social activity and God. Phones will be allowed only for contacting parents and for photo taking!
Please do your best to pack as light as possible as space is limited in the vehicles!
